The axles for the new Macan and Panamera are produced here. The plant will start series production in 2023. With the new unit, the site is increasing its manufacturing expertise and investing in its future viability. Situated in the immediate vicinity of the plant, the axle assembly department covers an area of around 15,000 m² and has two production lines, 24 production systems, 24 handling devices, 53 screwdriving systems and a conveyor system with 43 vehicles. One technical highlight is the automatic axle setting stand for the rear axles.
